Preparation, repair, and modification of drones for combat missions.

Level: Sergeant Major Format: Military service by mobilization or contract

Technician

Location
Zaporizhzhia direction
Possible performance of tasks in the combat zone.
Who it suits
18-45 years old
Mandatory full or limited fitness according to the decision of the Military Medical Commission.

Tasks

Daily work
  1. Repair of DJI, Autel after damage (replacement of arms, ribbons, cameras).
  2. Assembly and configuration of FPV: "Clean" assembly of custom drones (7/10 inches), firmware flashing in Betaflight/ArduPilot.
  3. Radio communication: Configuration and firmware flashing of ELRS, Crossfire, video systems. Work with non-standard frequencies.
  4. Modifications: Installation of drop systems, antenna relocation, adaptation to EW/ES equipment.
  5. Battery maintenance: Diagnostics and assembly of Li-ion/LiFePO4 batteries.

Requirements

Must-have
  • Readiness to perform tasks in the combat zone
  • Ability to work in field conditions
  • Professional soldering skills
  • Technical background
  • Understanding of stacks (FC+ESC), peripheral pinouts, software configuration

Will be an advantage:
Experience with ArduPilot and Mission Planner.
Skills in working with spectrum analyzers and 3D printing.
Understanding of the specifics of operating under EW conditions.

  • Monetary compensation in accordance with the standards of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (+ combat payments as per orders) from 20,000 to 120,000 UAH

How the selection process works

Steps
  1. Interview
  2. Completion of initial documentation
  3. Mobilization/signing a contract for service in the Armed Forces of Ukraine or transfer between units under the full support of a specialist from the 428th Separate Battalion of Unmanned Systems “Shadow”
  4. Completion of Basic General Military Training and/or specialized training
  5. Arrival at the unit
